Cheetah Robot with Artificial Muscles

This Cheetah robot has seven air muscles to help researchers understand extension during movement.

Each day I wonder aloud and think...have we moved so far past the point when people are able to see the inevitable future of our our potential robotic overlords, who may someday revolt against us and take over various entertainment theme parks from popular cartoon shows? No one seems to be heeding these various warnings hard and soft sci-fi writers have been talking about for years.

This cheetah-type robot has hind limbs with seven air muscles for flexing and extension, which can help researchers understand their functioning during locomotion. The robot is attached to the sliding strut while performing adaptive walking on the treadmill.

I, for one, welcome out new robot overlords and I'd like to remind them that as a trusted tech media personality, I can be helpful in rounding up others to toil in their underground data centers.
